Born and raised in Toronto, Dr. Camy is a very proud Torontonian!

With a passion for eye care, Dr. Grewal’s favourite part of her job is interacting with her patients, especially educating them about their eyes. She is very involved in the eyecare community, sitting on Council for the College of Optometrists of Ontario that governs optometrists for the province as well as chairing their HR/Governance committee and sitting on the Executive committee, Quality Assurance committee, and as a Subject Matter Expert for QA assessment rehaul. Dr. Grewal is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and Canadian Association of Optometrists, and previously sat on the Board of Directors for the Vision Institute of Canada.

Dr. Grewal started her academic pursuits within healthcare when she was in high school, first as a co-op student, then employee, and research assistant in the Neurosurgery and Trauma units at St. Michael’s Hospital. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto in Human Biology, before going to the prestigious Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. Don’t even get her started on Chicago – she’ll talk your ear off! During her externship year, Dr. Grewal worked closely with renowned optometrists and ophthalmologists seeing veterans, children, and adults of all ages in Providence, RI, Atlanta, GA, Chicago, IL, and right here in Toronto, ON.

Upon returning to Toronto in 2009, Dr. Grewal continued to work with ophthalmologists and as an associate with optometrists throughout the GTA. In 2016, Dr. Grewal travelled as a volunteer doctor to rural Jamaica to provide eyecare services in Lyssons, St. Thomas Parish. When she returned, she took the big step of taking over a 40 year old practice – what you now know as Look & See Eyecare!

When not attending meetings, or travelling all over Canada, the US, and Europe for continuing education, you’ll find her cheering on all of Toronto’s sports teams, especially the Toronto Blue Jays, Raptors, and Maple Leafs! She enjoys travelling the world, and loves hearing about your travels too! Come meet Dr. Grewal today!
